Nicolás Rivas, an excellent well-known and well-liked guide especially in the local community of Cochamó. He has many years of experience climbing in the area. Clients know him as fun, professional and responsible, and he works closely with locals to help organize trips and spends much of his time contributing to the community in the Cochamó Valley. As many top climbers may spend their free time updating and showing off their latest climbs on Facebook and Instagram, Nicolás, who does not have Facebook nor other social media, contributes to the community by working with non-profit organizations in the Cochamó Valley and teaches climbing to young people. He also works building climbing walls in Chile and Argentina and organizing comps in Santiago, Chile.
